A Very DC Engagement Session

[From Muriel] Several weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting Ian and Eve's engagement shoot.  We had so much fun!  Wishing you guys the best!  Enjoy!

[From Michelle] Take note, I always tell couples to think "coordinating" rather than matchy matchy" Eve and Ian did a GREAT job at this. Color, pattern, they look coordinating but not matchy matchy... high five guys!

 [From Michelle]

Are you drooling like I am??? Muriel is ROCKING MY WORLD this year.  I feel like a proud momma seeing her take off on year 3 on team MVP. SO fun, so modern, colorful and fresh.  So Michelle VanTine Photography! She's got it down pat.  Good job Muriel... leave a message and give her props if you're loving this as much as I am.

Tabard Inn Spring Wedding, D.C.

Howdy! Yay for sharing a GORGEOUS wedding with you from one of our favorite venues, the Tabard Inn in DC. This quaint artistic spot is one of our favorite place to shoot our off beat brides. If these pics are knocking your socks off, give PABLO AND MURIEL a high five, because this was one of their weddings! So blessed to have such an amazing team to work with.  Hope you enjoy!

This shot below is the PERFECT example of the "5 minute schpeel" I give my clients at all my sessions. I always tell them... "Be yourself. I can compose the shot perfectly, expose the shot perfectly, and edit the shot perfectly but I can't contribute genuine emotion, and that's what makes a picture truly successful". I love this shot below for that very reason. (and for Muriel's all start nailing the very hard back lighting technique!)

Muriel breaks through the Senior Portrait Market with a bang!

I'm thrilled to share these latest pictures... are they blowing your mind... guess who shot them... NOT ME! That's right. It's my amazing, talented, super sweet photographer Muriel.  She's starting her 3rd year with me and it's plain to see has caught the bug for beauty and creativity. Check out these shots she did for Christine and Quincey. Sit back and enjoy!

After talking with Christine and hearing about her style, she came up with this idea of "hippie chic" and I loved it!

Also, Muriel had a great shoot with Quincey. Quincey requested to shoot in Old Town.  If you're a photographer in Alexandria, you get that request all the time, so we like to change it up and keep it fresh. Bring a new angle to it and do it differently. Muriel really knocked it out of the park.

She threw a few of our classic bright color pop ones in there too! Love it girl! Way to go.

Hope you enjoyed! If you're a loving these shots and want to book your own custom-designed portrait session with Muriel shoot us an email through our "contact" page (top right of menu bar).  We'd love to get to know you better and plan something artistic, unique and beautiful to capture this special time in your life.

Big high five for you Muriel... you ROCK!

Cheers
