Many of you know Muriel as my talented wedding side kick. You've seen her amazing wedding shots and loved them. But did you know that Muriel also has a secret love for shooting senior portraits? And she ROCKS at it! This is her latest session with Jordyn. Hope you enjoy!

Muriel breaks through the Senior Portrait Market with a bang!

I'm thrilled to share these latest pictures... are they blowing your mind... guess who shot them... NOT ME! That's right. It's my amazing, talented, super sweet photographer Muriel.  She's starting her 3rd year with me and it's plain to see has caught the bug for beauty and creativity. Check out these shots she did for Christine and Quincey. Sit back and enjoy! 

 

After talking with Christine and hearing about her style, she came up with this idea of "hippie chic" and I loved it! 

 

Also, Muriel had a great shoot with Quincey. Quincey requested to shoot in Old Town.  If you're a photographer in Alexandria, you get that request all the time, so we like to change it up and keep it fresh. Bring a new angle to it and do it differently. Muriel really knocked it out of the park.

 

She threw a few of our classic bright color pop ones in there too! Love it girl! Way to go.

Kristine's Rustic Senior Portrait

Wow... what a treat! Yesterday I got to shoot Kristine's senior portrait.  I know I say this every single post... but what in the world?!!? How do I attract the world's most gorgeous clients?

Some tell me that I'm a great photographer... but I hardly feel that I can take any credit with the beautiful, fun, creative clients I somehow attract! Okay enough about this, let's see the pics! For some reason I was totally feeling the black and white look on these. I call it my black and white vanilla, I love that touch of warmth, especially on this rustic barn shoot.

I thought about titling this post the "Gorgeous Hair Sesh"... I mean seriously....

Just LOVED the black and white. But of course you know I'm going to throw in some color for you....

Wow, what a great sesh!  I usually have a standout favorite... but I just can't pick on this one.  What about you all, which one is your fav? And you like better B&W or color? I think I'm a sucker for B&W on these. Thanks Kris for the great sesh!

Muriel's Fav 5 Catch-Up

It's been such a long time since I have written anything. Life has been hectic, but I am glad to be back blogging! This post will contain the last several shoots that I have done with Michelle.  Here's to beautiful people and to beautiful moments! Enjoy!

This picture was a senior portrait taken in Poolesville, MD.   Kristine was so much fun to work with.  She took her guitar and sang songs during the shoot.  Absolutely amazing!

What a great moment this picture was!  The groom is reading a card from his bride right before they walked down the aisle. 

A great shot taken at the Aloft hotel in the National Harbor.   The bride enjoys a happy moment with her lovely ladies!

Guess who?  Here's another great shot from the sunflower field.  It was lovely to work with a couple who was open to such creative work.  

I love the emotion in this shot.  Here's the bride and the groom enjoying their day in the sunset.

Forget -Me -Not Mondays!

Back to work Monday! Hope you had a restful weekend and that you brewed a strong pot of coffee this morning to hit the week running! You may or may not know but in addition to shooting weddings and engagements I occasionally do a senior portrait or a children's portrait. This shot is from a senior portrait I shot last summer. Megan was so beautiful and absolutely amazing in front of the camera. I love her bright blue eyes and her beautifully speckled skin. What a fun shoot! Thanks Megan!
