Sunset Maritime Museum Wedding Annapolis MD

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful waterfront wedding a few weeks ago in Annapolis MD. Jessica and Bill were really in love with their charming hometown of Annapolis and wanted me to capture the feel of this laid back, quaint little seaside town.  Never having been there before, it was a real treat for me to take in the local feel or this charming town.

Bill and Jessica got maried at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, right on the water.

Yeah... yeah... there were people there; we're coming to that! I really wanted to capture the town since that was a important part of pictures for the bride and groom.

There were tons of adorable homes and buidlings within blocks of the venue, which made for great pictures. It made me think a little bit of Old Town, Alexandria, a few miles from where I live.

Bill and the guys were good sports when Muriel told them to be "gangstas" hahaha! Those are the kind of "gangsters" I'd want to run into in a dark alley if I ever had to!

This is Jessica's adorable son. Can't you just see the love in her eyes?

I call my daughter "ocean eyes".... I think she's going to have to share the nickname. How do I get these stunning brides? I swear, I'm some kind of magnet for beautiful clients!

You can't appreciate how stunning the girl's hair was from the above pictures... check this out! (From Salon Liu Liu in Annapolis)

And we got to stand back and capture an adorably sweet first look.

Can't you just see how in love they are? They really were as sweet and laid back as it seems in the picture. This wedding was one of the highlights of my 2012 wedding season so far. Loved it!

Guests got to enjoy a gourmet dinner and wine on the coastline as the sun was setting, what at a treat!

Once my couples are at their reception and having fun, I lay back and capture the celebration without interrupting. But.. every now and then I catch a breathtaking sunset and I ask the couple if they'll steal away for 5 minutes to get a sunset shot... SO glad Jess and Bill said yes!

Thanks Jess and Bill for sharing your special with me. I really enjoyed it SO much and wish you both the best in your many years ahead.
