A very DC Maternity Session

 One of the biggest honors as a photographer is growing with your clients. I shot Charles & Malaika's wedding at the Newseum 5 years ago, then their first maternity session, and now a third shoot as they welcome #2. It's such an privilege to watch love grow into a marriage, then a family, and to and give my couples memories to last a lifetime though my lens.

Charles & Malaika Maternity Session

Hey y'all! you remember this awesome couple Charles & Malaika from 2013?  I felt  so blessed to be able to be part of their  wedding at DC's swanky modern Newseum. I was equally overjoyed a few months ago to receive an email about baby Reynolds on the way! It was the end of the winter so it was a little drab... but Malaika's beautiful pregnant glow warmed the shoot.   Hope you enjoy!  Big congrats to you both Malaika and Charles as you enter this new season of your lives.  Michelle xxoxox

I had such a great time with the Cosgrave's last week.  They are expecting their first child in just a couple of weeks.  How exciting!!! Erin and Eoin are such a great couple.  I know this baby will be so blessed!!!  Enjoy!
